IT Jobs holding firm

In these uncertain times the IT jobs market seems to be holding its own. This is according to a survey from IT recruiter Computer People.

Overall permanent hires across all sectors were down 0.23% in October compared with the previous month, this was in contrast to temporay hires who experience a 0.5% increase.

Permanent retail hires rose by 6.5%, the highest of any sector. Retail however felt the force of the current climate with a decline in hiring by 17%.
